I. Required
* 4 years+ solid quality Python developer experience
* 4 years+ solid back-end web development experience
* experience with Django
* experience with Celery and RabbitMQ
* knowledge of databases like MySql
* familiarity with test-driven development, agile methods, etc.
* knowledge of Linux / Unix
* familiarity with AWS
* familiarity with creating API’s
* knowledge of release engineering/deployment in a fast-paced, quickly-changing environment
* knowledge of git
II. Desirable
* knowledge of statistics, and Python statistical packages
* familiarity with video data
* familiarity with other languages (Java, etc.)
* Android/Iphone development experience
* knowledge of computer vision techniques and practices
* basic familiarity with javascript and front-end technologies
III. General
* good communication skills!
* ability and desire to learn quickly new skills
* fast, but thorough
* not so much interested in reinventing the wheel as in producing a quality result with a minimum of effort
* ability to create readable, clear (rather than tricky), reliable code
* inquiring mind with a compelling desire to succeed
* highly motivated, enthusiastic
* comfortable with change, and with fuzzy/changing requirements
